The challenge
The EU's Digital Product Passport requirements under the ESPR land on brands across textiles, batteries, electronics, toys and construction products - and almost none of them want to build an internal compliance department to comply. They need passports issued reliably, hosted in the EU, and readable by any customer in any member state.
The brief was to make that achievable without bespoke engineering per brand: a multi-tenant platform that turns product data into compliant, public passports at scale.
What we built
We built DPP Automate as a multi-tenant SaaS through our custom SaaS development practice, with the data and AI ingestion layer scoped alongside our AI integration consulting and digital transformation work. Infrastructure is EU-hosted and active-active across Frankfurt and Amsterdam, and a REST API with an OpenAPI spec lets brands push product data in from existing systems.
Public passport surfaces are modelled with structured, machine-readable data and auto-localise into 24 languages, so a passport is both regulator-ready and genuinely usable by end customers.
The result
DPP Automate shipped as a working compliance platform: multi-tenant, EU-hosted, API-driven, and able to publish localised public passports at the scale the regulation demands.
The live product and its documentation are at DPP Automate.
